Music Ministry
At Wellspring, worship is more than our favorite song. Worship is more than what we “feel.” We believe that worship is a way of life. We long for worship that lifts the King of kings on high and not us. We desire a community of true worshipers that care about praising an “audience of One,” not trying to look good.We will always strive for music and prayer that is biblically sound and theologically deep. We sing mostly contemporary music but also embrace the beauty and rich traditions of older hymns. We want to worship the Lord with Humility, knowing that we are going before an almighty, powerful God (Heb 12:28). We want to worship with Intimacy, pouring our hearts out like David did, or the woman who washed Christ’s feet (Luke 7:37-38). We also want to worship with Authenticity. We know that God will see through any “show” that we put on (Amos 5:21-24). We long for the Lord to see our worship as pleasing and a sweet offering.
So that’s us…we are broken and needy. But we are loved by the Most High, and in response, we give our lives to Him.
